These terms apply when you use the ApiTab desktop app, browser extension, or the account and team-sync features backed by this server. By creating an account or enabling sync, you agree to these terms.

The service

ApiTab is a local-first API client — you can build, send, and inspect HTTP requests entirely offline with no account. Creating an account is optional and unlocks syncing collections across your own devices and sharing them with a team.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your credentials (or the Google account you sign in with) secure.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when registering.
• You may delete your account at any time; doing so removes your synced data from our servers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use ApiTab to:

• Send requests intended to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to systems you don't own or have permission to test.
• Store or share content through team sync that is illegal, infringing, or malicious.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other protections on this server.

Shared & synced content

Anything you save into a collection and share with a team becomes visible to that team's members, per the access you grant. You're responsible for not sharing secrets or sensitive data (API keys, tokens, personal data) with people who shouldn't have them.

Service availability

The desktop app and extension work fully offline for building and sending requests. The sync/team backend is provided on a best-effort basis and may be unavailable from time to time; we aren't liable for data-sync interruptions.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

ApiTab is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or the requests you choose to send with it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
